  • Scholar in Residence:  We would like to welcome Rabbi Chaim Jachter, author of the popular “Grey Matter” books for our scholar in residence this Shabbos.  Schedule below:
    • Friday Night Oneg:  8:30 PM at the Loiterman home.  Topic:  "Prime Minister or Rosh Yeshiva: Is it ever permissible for a soldier in the Israeli army to disobey orders?"
    • Shabbat Morning Drasha: (about 10:45 AM in the shul) topic:  “The Mesira Dilemma – How to protect our communities while maintaining fidelity to Halacha."
    • Seudah Shlishi:  Following Mincha (5:10 PM) topic:  "Beit Din in Action: A study of three real-life disputes and how Beit Din resolved the dispute."
  • Teen Shabbos:  The next Teen Shabbos will be Parshat Vayikra, March 20th.  Any teen wanting to participate should please contact David Turner.

  • Lecture at Community Synagogue:  Community Synagogue and the Stern Family invite the community to their annual Israel & Pearl Stern Memorial Lecture, Sunday, March 21st @ 10:15 AM at Community Synagogue (89 W. Maple Avenue, Monsey). The guest speaker will be Malcolm I. Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman, Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.  Topic:  Assessing US-Israel Relations: Is the Special Relationship Still Intact? Brunch following lecture, no solicitation.
